About the role
This role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to work with the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) Homelessness Taskforce to help establish the digital platform Street Support in the WMCA region. The Street Support Coordinator will help develop high quality information, advice and guidance so that people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness can find the right support services. This role will involve identifying and connecting homelessness services delivered by local authorities, charities, faith, community & grassroot groups and ensuring up to date and accurate information about organisations, services and needs is maintained on the Street Support website.

This role is on a fixed term contract until June 2022. 

About you
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is driven by the desire to build strong connections and positive working relationships with a range of individuals, groups and organisations to prevent and relieve homelessness across the region. To be successful in this role you will have a strong empathy for people experiencing homelessness and share and commit to Crisis’ values.  You will have an eye for attention to detail and have excellent communicative skills, including tact and diplomacy. You will bring experience of working within a busy and fast paced environment. In this role you will be organised and experienced with the use of technology and able to impart high quality information and guidance.
