Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it. Our Campaigns Manager plays a crucial role in helping us achieve this ambition.
About the role
As Campaigns Manager, you will lead a highly skilled team to strategically design and successfully deliver high profile campaigns, aimed at securing political change. The remit is primarily focused at Westminster government; however, your team will also support campaigns lead by teams in Scotland and Wales. This vacancy is to provide maternity cover for a fixed period of 13 months
To be successful in this role you must be passionate about securing solutions to end homelessness and driven to achieve ambitious reform to government policy on this area. Knowledge of parliamentary affairs and how to affect change to government policy through effective use of media and public engagement are essential, and experience of including people with lived experience in shaping and delivering campaigning activity is highly advantageous.
We want Crisis to be an inclusive employer which then reflects our members and the communities we work in. We want to offer opportunities to everyone regardless of their gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation or age. We particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of homelessness.
