About us
Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

Crisis Skylight Brent is a building based service that also conducts some outreach work in the community. We work with people who are homeless or at risk of losing their home, and our aim is to end homelessness for all those who we support. Our services include progression and housing support, a wellbeing and mental health offer, arts and engagement activities, learning, and employment support. Crisis Brent works in a psychologically informed environment, and both reflection and learning is important to us as a team. This is an exciting time to join the team as we are moving to a new building in October 2021 and so there will be opportunities to get involved in shaping our offer to members. 

About the role
As Progression Coach, you will be supporting members to overcome any barriers they face in achieving their goals and ending their homelessness. This role requires creativity, skilled delivery of psycho-social interventions and a passion for working with those who face multiple disadvantages in society. 

This is a fixed term role for 13 months to cover maternity leave. The role is required to start in January 2022.  

About you
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience and skills in the following areas:
•    Engaging and working with adults experiencing multiple disadvantage 
•    Supporting people to end their homelessness and achieve their goals 
•    Offering psycho-social interventions to a high standard
•    Being creative in your interventions and member (client) work
•    Member/client involvement and member/client-led support planning 
•    Working in a multiple disciplinary team or/and joint working with other services to deliver the highest possible level of support to the people you work with.
