Digital Fundraising at Crisis is growing – and this role is central to that growth. 

Title:      Senior Digital Fundraising Officer (Known internally as  Senior Digital Fundraising Executive)

About the role 

As Senior Digital Fundraising Executive, you will develop, deliver and support on supporter – centric, inspiring, innovative and cost-effective digital fundraising campaigns to meet the growing digital objectives of the Fundraising Team at Crisis. 

  • A community group are preparing to relay run the length of Britain to raise awareness of the homelessness crisis.  

  • A life-long volunteer wants to leave a gift in their will that can change society. 

  • A group of gamers are ready to raise money through a two-day livestream marathon.  

  • A storied national association looks to use their platform to educate young people about the complex roots of homelessness.  

  • A young philanthropist is considering exchanging their cryptocurrency for a good cause. 

This is just a taste of the melting pot of Crisis supporters our new Senior Digital Fundraising Executive will design and deliver cutting-edge digital products and experiences for. Whether you are plotting tests to help optimise our existing products and journeys, or you are crafting experiments with emerging tools, your mission will be to ensure that anyone can easily take meaningful action ​towards ending homelessness​. It doesn’t matter if a donor can commit £2 or £200,000 to Crisis, you will ensure they feel part of a community that guarantees everybody in Britain a place to live. 

Equally adept when taking creative and scientific approaches, you will be a champion of smart, supporter-centric digital fundraising to your colleagues. Your analytical approach means you will be comfortable working on projects as varied as the establishment of contactless donation systems to improving website conversion rates. Your digital expertise and curiosity will make sure Crisis continues to raise funds sustainably, with an eye on emerging trends and behaviours.  

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  1. A good level of experience of working in Digital Marketing  

  1. Experience of managing multiple digital products in a portfolio  

  1. Experience of driving digital innovation within a Team or Organisation  

  1. Experience of managing external suppliers/agencies 

  1. Experience of project management 

  1. Experience implementing and monitoring reporting on digital channels, including Google Analytics experience 

  1. Strong experience of strategic and operational management of digital campaigns including social media and paid search
