About us
Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.
The Data Insight Analyst role is vital to Crisis’ BI function, providing the evidence and modelling the data that will inform key decisions across the organisation.
About the role
As a Data Insight Analyst you will work with colleagues across the organisation to provide the evidence that guides their decision-making processes. This will include using statistical analysis to help us understand the performance of marketing campaigns and how we interact with our supporters, as well as using data science techniques to help the organisational test, plan, and set targets.
This is an exciting time to join the Business Intelligence team at Crisis, as we are developing our capabilities to fulfil the demand of an organisation that is committed to embedding data and evidence throughout.
This is a fixed term role for 5 months, you will have the opportunity to work from home 4 day as week.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be able to turn the results of statistical analysis and data science techniques into actionable recommendations. To achieve this, you will need a good knowledge of SQL as well as analytical and interactive reporting tools or languages, such as Python, R, Power BI, or Excel.
As well as the technical skills, you will be a succinct communicator, able to translate your innovative findings into informative charts and graphs and discuss them with stakeholders around the organisation. There will also be opportunity to share your methods and insight with colleagues in the BI team, to inspire and intrigue.
We believe diversity is a strength, and our aim is to make sure that Crisis truly reflects the communities we serve. We are actively working towards our organisation being a place where everyone can thrive and make their best contribution to our mission of ending homelessness for good. We know that the more perspectives, voices, and experiences we can bring to this work, the better. We particularly welcome applications from people who have lived experience of homelessness, and people from all marginalised groups, communities and backgrounds.
