About us

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

London-wide Services are now recruiting to the Christmas Case Management Team, who work across the Crisis at Christmas services in London and through an outreach-based approach thereafter. We work in a psychologically informed way, supporting guests to access accommodation and services during the Christmas period and into the New Year. We now seek to provide support to more people throughout the year, linking with Skylights and other external organisations and you will be integral to this piece of work. 

About the role

As the Team Leader, you will support the Team Manager to coordinate the engagement and delivery of high-quality coaching and progression activities for homeless and vulnerable adults from the London Christmas project. You will be working within an established team within London-wide Services, who are highly experienced, motivated and supportive. They provide flexible, person-centred support to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, assisting them to access accommodation and relevant services.

Through establishing internal and external partnerships and advocating where necessary, you will support guests to achieve their outcomes and move away from homelessness. You will hold a small caseload of members and support and advise case managers with their assigned members. You will receive regular supervision, reflective practice, and access to learning and development opportunities. Finally, you will be joining a team seeking to improve the quality of life of people experiencing homelessness in London. 

About You

To be successful in this role you will have experience of delivering or managing high quality information, advice and guidance, understanding the barriers faced by homeless people in accessing housing, education, training and employment. You will also have experience of managing and developing staff, including driving targets and allocating staff resources effectively.
